California Storm

It doesn’t rain often in Southern California.  We are in the fourth year of a drought.  We have had bark beetles infect our trees.  Then there is the Santa Ana winds.

When we DO experience weather, we get over excited.  Something that is normal rain anywhere else, it’s rain. In Southern California, we call it a storm.

Here’s what happened during our last storm.  The dead Live Oak tree folded over our back fence.

The fence has minor damage. My only concern is to make sure the barbed wire stays up.  That’s our property, and pets, safety from coyotes.

Good excuse to check the deductible on our property insurance.

To be continued..
